Tanzania sees 12.63 percent increase in number of passengers using air transport services

DODOMA: THE Minister for Transport, Professor Makame Mbarawa, has said that the number of passengers using air transport services in Tanzania increased by 12.63 percent during the 2025/26 financial year. Meanwhile, the International Civil Aviation Organization continues to entrust Tanzania with the responsibility of guiding aircraft flying through Burundi’s airspace at altitudes above 25,000 feet.
